Roommatee does basic verification for members through ID and selfie verification. However, we are not responsible for verifying the source or other aspects of a member’s identity. Users are encouraged to use reasonable diligence and take reasonable precautions when interacting with others through our platform.
Roommatee is not liable for loss, injury, death, murder, crime, rape, or any other incident that may occur between users of our Platform. We are not responsible for any issues that arise as a result of interactions between users.
By using Roommatee, you acknowledge and agree that you are 100% responsible for your interactions and relationship with other users. It is your responsibility to take reasonable precautions to protect yourself and your property when meeting or communicating with others through our Platform.
We are not responsible for any actions, transactions or communications between users of Roommatee. Any issues arising from these interactions are the sole responsibility of the participating users. Roommatee does not mediate or intervene in user communications and is not responsible for any consequences. We are not responsible for any verbal abuse, offensive language that may or may not apporpirate. The application allows reporting other users in case spamming happened which we can review and take a single action to deactivate the other user if found offensive. We want to keep this platform a safe community for everyone but will not take any responsibility if it was not.
We may update this Terms of Services from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Services on this page. Signing up or signing provides us consent that you agreed to this privacy policy and that you have read it.
At any point in time, we hold the right to deactivate a user's profile without their consent if found guilty to any crime, rudeness, aggressiveness or hate speach towards other members.
We encourage you to verify that a user is verified. You are soley responsible for making any decisions. We do not encourage any financial transaction without confirming the real identity behind the profile. This statement is only a warning as we cannot prevent, detect or hold any liability against such incident.
For the purposes of this Agreement, "Force Majeure" means any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the parties, which prevents or delays the performance of any of their obligations under this Agreement. Such events include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil disturbances, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics, or other similar events or circumstances.
Neither party shall be liable for any damages, losses, or costs incurred by the other party as a result of a Force Majeure event. The parties acknowledge that a Force Majeure event does not constitute a breach of this Agreement but only suspends performance obligations for the duration of the event.
